Finland is scenic, beautiful, subtle and calm because of its lakes, forests and blue sky. Finland is also famous for residents named Moomins and Santa Claus. Helsinki is the melting pot of two worlds, with traces of Russian influence. Finlandia Hall and Finnish National Museum are another set of hot spots for the tourists that showcase the history of the country.
Sibelius monument is one of the most important monuments of Finland for its unique structure made in the honour of famous composer Jean Sibelius. In Helsinki stands the famous Olympic stadium as well as the famous rock church showcasing its contemporary architecture with its ceiling made of pure copper wire and it being underground fascinates everyone even more.
Finland has a number of historic ancient castles scattered around the country, so pack your bags and get ready for a hike or a boat trip around to marvel and lose yourself admiring the class of the architecture. Do not forget to visit the Santa Clause’s village located in Rovaniemi which is a fun amusement park.
It depends on what you'd like to experience: for plenty of snow and winter activities, December to March is the best time. For springtime sun and the revival of nature after the winter, April to May is the period. For long and warm summer days and plenty of events, opt for June, July and August.
